Cleaning Up The Mess

In an interview with CNN the 2002 Nobel Prize laureate and former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has disclosed the fact that Guantánamo detainees are being tortured. Even though everybody suspected it from the very beginning, we now have clearer evidence as Carter underlined his statement with the words: "I don't think it. - I know it."
Read the whole story on my Guantánamo page and the linked website by CNN.

However, its not Guantánamo torturing alone that is darkening the image of the United States. The phoney "liberation by bombing out the bad guys", as practised in Afghanistan and Iraq and surely soon to be practised in Iran, has requested its toll as well when it comes to U.S. credibility abroad.
BLUEPRINT magazine, having become specialized in such ugly subjects, now offers you its visitor statistics and analysis of visiting domains. You will be surprised to learn who visited BLUEPRINT in the past months of 2007 and why he came !

Trading with China

The current pre-election campaign of leading Democratic and
Republican politicians has it that Republicans tend to accept
China as an ally, while Democrats are warning that China might
turn out the most dangerous adversary to U.S. economy. $400
billion in U.S. debt, held by the Chinese, are surely a fact to
support the Democratic pre-election position of, both, Clinton
and Obama. Seen in the frame of standard foreign politics, no-
toriously demanding further steps towards democracy in China,
this could make an issue in U.S.-Chinese relationships of any
possible Democratic President.
But the Chinese are striking back. In an article, recently published
in the Chinese online-edition of People's Daily, they state that the
U.S. exportation volume towards China has risen about 240% in
the last seven years to the benefit of U.S. economy, - another fact
not easily to be discussed away. Thus, all that verbal fighting bet-
ween high-ranking Democratic and Republican politicians might
finally lead to a kind of status quo towards China to the benefit of
both countries and remain a mere expression of U.S. pre-election
entertainment.

Money of War

backside of a new Iranian 50.000 Rials banknote

Only one day before the Central Bank of Iran
issued a 50.000 Rials banknote, bearing a
nuclear symbol, the German daily Welt Online
disclosed informations on fake U.S. Dollars,
soon to be printed in an Iranian facility in
order to fuel the national nuclear programme.
As these informations, published by a paper of
a rather conservative reputation, is related to
"Western intelligence sources", everybody
is free to have his own thoughts about that.

I wonder how much fake money of how many
countries of anti-U.S. brand has been printed
and distributed during all those years the CIA
has conducted its "inofficial foreign policies".

Castro soon back in office ?
古巴的 Castro 近再来 ?

Update:
"Live" from Caracas and Havana on October 15, 2007.
Castro now even better in shape than before.
When will he resume power ?

Update:
Now, even CNN took notice of the fact that Cuba's leader Fidel Castro
is far from dying. In a "round table interview", transmitted by Cuba's
National CUBAVISION TV, he appeared healthy enough to stand the
questions of his counterpart (June 5, 2007).

The neighbouring pictures
have been extracted from a
video, transmitted on Jan.
31, 2007, by Cuba's TV.

Another visit by Hugo Chavez, President of Venezuela, and Fidel Castro
on his feet again and even smiling. Could it be that his return to power
is merely a question of time ?

Brave New Media World 2007

Its a new media world where blogs have made journalism a public affair
and where private video production has found its entry to the sphere of
public entertainment.

And even the world of professional journalism has changed since CNN,
a pacemaker on the field of TV news, got a new and powerful competitor:
AL-JAZEERA International TV, the English service of the Arabic station
in Qatar, now broadcasting from Washington and Kuala Lumpur as well
as from Doha and other places, has added a strong Asian note to the
more U.S. based agenda of CNN.
Nevertheless, the Arabic station in Qatar remains an important source
of information when it comes to the development of the Middle East.
As their website already showed, the Arabic service is by far more
specific than the English service which had been established only two
years ago. Opinion polls on the Arabic website not only use different
questions on the same subject but attract a different kind of people as
well; Arabic speaking Muslims with strong roots in the region. Such,
the Arabic service still deserves being observed !

Whatsoever, BLUEPRINT magazine will continue to track any source
of information that seems reliable enough to deliver accurate facts on
the crucial subjects BLUEPRINT is dealing with.

Wolfgang Wiesner, the editor of BLUEPRINT magazine
who wishes you a Happy and Peaceful New Year 2007.

a new era rising - es una nueva época

"The people of Venezuela celebrating an overwhelming victory of
Hugo Chávez Frías, candidate of the Bolivarian Revolution. All of
Venezuela united in the celebrations." (Live transmission by Cuba-
vision TV on December 4, 2006)

Hugo Chávez, just having won the elections in Venezuela
with an overwhelming majority, is now able to continue his
strategy based on a socialist draft and directed against
that special kind of imperialism which has been triggered
off and conducted by the Bush administration. Seen in the
frame of a political landslide towards socialism, now to
be observed in other countries of the Latin-American
sphere as well, there is undoubtedly a new era rising.

Guantánamo Again !

While Al-Jazeera is reporting about a righteous doctor from Afghanistan
who has finally been released from Guantánamo, German media are
presenting a German detainee, Mourad Kurnaz, who had been held in
U.S. custody in that same prison, despite everyone knowing about his
innocence. As high-ranking members of the German military staff seem
to be involved, now being accused of having hindered Mourad's release,
a parliamentary showdown is likely to make its way. Furthermore, accu-
sations launched by Mourad himself have it that German KSK special
troops lent a hand in his torture. Even though there is strong evidence,
all that still needs to be proven in detail.

Update Oct. 23, 2006:
The "Extremists" Fighting Terrorism

While the Bush administration is looking at some Latin-American coun-
tries as the strongholds of extremism in that part of the world, those
countries are now developing their own strategy to fight terrorism. In-
cited by Cuba, the parliamentary assembly of Latin-American states
discussed the draft of a framing law, dealing with the fight against
terrorism:
"This draft exposes the double standards of antiterrorism. Its point of
view is to analyze the nature of [terrorist] actions and their reasons.
Therefore, the Latin-American assembly watches carefully the double
increase of offenders in the prisons of its countries... A United Nations
observer considered that in the "Al-Qaeda prison" of Guantánamo Bay
human rights are violated and humanity is endangered. ....."

North Korea - Welcome to the Club !

"Yesterday the Devil came here,
right here. And it still smells of
sulphur today."
(H. Chavez after the inauguration
speech of U.S. president G. Bush,
opening the new round of sessions
of the U.N. general assembly.)

After North Korea entering the club of nuclear lunatics ....
What the world needs now, seems to be a decent nuclear weapon's "test",
launched by our special friend George Bush and directed against North
Korea or the Islamic Republic of Iran or Cuba (as long as Castro is still hospitalized) or, let's say, Venezuela (to punish president Chavez for hav-
ing smelled the Devil in the United Nations assembly). At least, everybody
should know that there's only one single gentleman on earth entitled to
pull the trigger. If its not for Holy Oil it might be for the benefits of a
Holy War against terrorism. Therefore, hurry to buy your share in the
weapon's business to be among the guarantied winners !

As to this subject, here's a special offer that reached me by email:

..................

VERY HOT NEW ANTI-TERRORISM IPO
GOING PUBLIC Tuesday, OCT. 9th, 2006

NASDAQ: DFSE - DEFENSE DIRECTIVE, INC.

DEFENSE DIRECTIVE (ticker: DFSE), a major manufacturer of
weaponized chemicals and anti-terrorism detection devices will be
going public Tuesday, 10/9. The products that Defense Directive
creates are used in each major airport in the U.S.A., and the com-
pany has important long-term government contracts to furnish the
U.S. military with DFSE's equipment.
Talk about a company with products that's in high demand! DFSE's
military contracts will guarantee this company an impressive revenue
stream that simply won't be ignored.
This IPO is certain to generate massive interest from the investment
community, as well as valuable media coverage due to the current
turmoil in the Middle East.

.................

Now have a nice day (it might be your last),
W.W.

Reconstruction of some Main Sites

Like its editor, BLUEPRINT magazine is growing older.
Therefore, some reconstruction has become necessary.

All Arabic sites will be available from
one single entry page, such that suffi-
cient space on the BLUEPRINT main
page can be saved for the addition of
brandnew subjects.

During the time of reconstruction there
might be daily changes to the layout of
my magazine as a result of optimization
efforts. Nevertheless, all subjects still
remain accessible from the main page.

Best wishes from BLUEPRINT editor.

02/06/2005 Social Climate in Germany

德国:社会的一般情况 / 经济对于社会
I recently created a suite of webpages dealing with stagnant economy and social climate in Germany. As unemployment is still rising and the ideas of what we call neoliberalism are constantly swapping into our country, I found it necessary to deal with that subject. Most of the information and comments are published in German and French, the language of Germany's most important partner in Europe. Nevertheless, there is still some key information given in English. So simply click to the neighbouring image to get enlightened.

editorial — 蓝图杂志的总编辑

-- Hello everybody !

-- This is the editor of a blog related to BLUEPRINT magazine
-- https://blueprinteditor.blogspot.com 蓝图杂志 speaking to you
-- personally and more directly than ever before.
--

As you know, our time flies such that even an online-journalist finds it hard to cope with it. It is for this reason that I offer you a newsblog, easy to edit and easy to post, intended to launch such news from politics and culture I find remarkable enough to be mentioned in front of a greater public.

Doing translations from Arabic, Chinese and other foreign sources, I can therefore provide you with facts and opinion that you will hardly find on any other place in the web.

Please, forgive me if you find my English an awkward mixture of the Oxford and American idiom. But be assured that I am always earnestly trying to get my information to the point.

Sincerely yours
- Ulysses -
(as I decided to name myself because I found it a nice idea seeing myself
riding on the "waves" of the internet and living through all those funny
adventures, the olympic gentry under the guidance of Zeus is providing for
us humans)
